Finding the right names for products and brands shapes customer understanding and expectations. The name can do much of the work in communicating the product quality, role and price.

Branding with purpose

Creating the names for Nestlé professional’s new Leggero and Attimo coffee machines was part of a wider project to create names and packaging designs for Nescafé’s first ever roast & ground coffee bean packs. Leaning into the Italian heritage of espresso and coffee excellence, Leggero is the simpler machine and Attimo is the ultimate, full-featured version.

Design with intent

To reinforce the launch of the machines, our Senior Brand Director storyboarded, wrote and produced a promotional film with our video partners Heehaw.

And because the film launch preceded the construction of the machines, it had to include 3D renders of the final machines with virtual fly-throughs, all generated from production plans in three short weeks.
