ABOUT THE CLIENT

Already well established in the domestic decorating services sector, the founders of Endeco Decorating Contractors wanted to establish a brand that didn’t alienate their existing client base while allowing them to open up a new target market in the commercial and industrial decorating sectors.

Endeco wanted to create a brand identity underpinned by a strong logo that captured and communicated elements of the approach they take when consulting on decorating.

How we helped

REFERENCING

It was established very soon into the design consultations that the logo should centre around the ‘infinity’ symbol, to represent the breadth of possibilities that their product can produce.

CREATIVE DISCOVERY

Concepting and drafting focused on forming a strong silhouette that translated well to use as an icon.

COLOUR SCHEME

The difficulty in working with a variety of colour ranges was that the client was reluctant to be contrained in their own design asset to a few colours, so we settled on the use of many – all complementing the existing harmony with an emphasis on warm tones.

APPLICATION & USE

Design assets are often used in a variety of applications, and this was no exception. The intended brand assets had to be versatile enough to be applied powerfully, from business cards to vehicle signage.
